Pricing & FAQ

What does a wall mural cost?

Every mural is created for a specific wall, size and style. This page explains what shapes the price of custom wall art and how the process works from first inquiry to finished mural.

Starting price

From €80/m² for custom interior murals.

The per-m² rate depends on wall size, design complexity, number of colors, surface type and location. Larger walls can bring the per-m² rate down, while exterior work, textured surfaces or elevated access are priced individually.

What's included

  • Initial consultation about the space, style and budget
  • Mural concept or digital preview on a photo of your wall
  • Color and material recommendations for interior or exterior use
  • Hand-painted mural work on site
  • Basic handover and care recommendations for the finished artwork

What affects the price

  • Wall size. Area in m². Larger walls bring the per-m² rate down.
  • Surface. Smooth plaster is quick; rough render, brick or concrete need extra prep.
  • Design complexity. A simple graphic motif, botanical wall painting, illustration, lettering or detailed scene all need different amounts of work.
  • Height and access. Working from a scaffold or lift costs more than from a ladder.
  • Location. I most often work across Western and Central Slovakia. For projects further away, travel is included in the quote.
  • Timeline. Standard bookings vs. rush projects. Short-notice work can affect the final budget.

How the process works

  1. Inquiry. Send a wall photo, rough dimensions, location and the style or motif you have in mind.
  2. Consultation. We discuss the purpose of the space, color palette, timing, budget and technical possibilities of the wall.
  3. Quote. You receive an estimate or fixed price based on the scope of the project.
  4. Design. I prepare a mural direction or visualization on your wall photo. You approve the direction before painting starts.
  5. Execution. Painting happens directly on site. A smaller interior mural typically takes 2–4 days; larger walls 1–2 weeks.
  6. Handover. Final check together, small adjustments if needed, and care recommendations for the mural.

Lead time

It is best to get in touch a few weeks ahead, especially for larger commercial spaces. If you need a mural sooner, still send a message — depending on scope, an earlier slot may be possible.
